The S-1 shop is in charge of maintaining files and records for and of cadets. It is run by shop officer, C/MAJ Ryan C. Hodge with his assistant C/CPT Nate Scott

I am active in both FHS academics as well as in extracurricular activities. In school, I am enrolled in the IB Diploma program. As for extra curriculars, I am the VP of the French Honors Society, a junior officer for Habitat for Humanity, as well as being in the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council and am on the FHS Softball Team. As for JROTC, I am the S-1 officer and have participated in multiple color guard events, as well as being on the raiders team. 

The S-1 is the administrative assistant to the battalion commander, as well as is responsible for performing other duties assigned by the BC, XO, or instructor. The S-1 also assists in maintaining the personal files and records on all cadets. The S-1 also is responsible for organizing and planning the Military Ball at Franklin High School.
